Parishioner Quotes

Being a member of Sherwood is more than having your name recorded on a register. It is belonging to a community who worships together. It is also belonging to a community of people who actively support each other in times of need. The word “Communion” takes on new meaning when people share this special bond.

Years ago, when I first arrived on the hill, and tentatively walked to the church, a parishioner approached me, offered her hand, and introduced herself.  She didn’t want me to arrive alone. I’ve never forgotten how welcome she made me feel – and that is good enough reason to stay.

I have never felt so welcomed. The people of Sherwood welcomed my family with open arms. After visiting many churches in the area and being so disappointed I think I have found a home! The music was fantastic. The sermon was understandable and put into the year 2007. The history of the church is amazing.
